Happy Valley’s Original Flower Field Experience
Pick-Your-Own Flowers
Since 2020, Rooted Farmstead has welcomed guests to experience the farm behind our floral designs. Many of the same specialty flowers grown for our weddings and events are available for you to gather yourself during pick-your-own season.
Our flower fields open on select dates beginning July 18, 2025
Hours, bloom updates, and special events are announced on Instagram, Facebook, and our Calendar page.
How it Works
Rooted Farmstead is Happy Valley’s original pick-your-own flower farm, offering a seasonal opportunity to step into the same fields that supply our floral design work.
We’re open on select dates throughout the summer and fall—check our calendar or social media for current hours.
There is no admission fee—this is a pay-for-your-harvest experience. You simply choose your container and fill it with the flowers you love.
Upon arrival, check in at the Farm Shop to select your container size ($25–$35 range), with incentives for returning your cup or bucket on future visits. Our staff will share a quick harvesting overview, then you’re free to head into the fields and fill your vessel with as many blooms as it will hold.

About the Experience
Pick-Your-Own FAQ
Is there an admission fee?
Nope! There is no admission fee. We’re a pay-for-your-harvest experience. To help us keep it this way, we simply ask that guests purchase flowers or support the Farm Shop during their visit.
Where can I park?
Parking is free and located in a gravel lot in front of the Farm Shop. Overflow parking is on grass fields.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and tap to pay. As with all small businesses, cash is preferred!
What about food and beverage?
Our Farm Shop typically offers bottled water and a selection of beverages for purchase. Guests are also welcome to bring their own food and enjoy a picnic on the lawn. Chairs and blankets are encouraged for relaxing among the flowers, with limited picnic tables available.
Is the farm pet-friendly?
We are pet-friendly for friendly pets! All pets must be leashed at all times, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them. If your pet becomes disruptive, we may kindly ask you to leave.
What is the farm environment like?
This is a working flower farm, so conditions are rustic and ever-changing. Expect full sun, uneven ground, insects, and weather exposure depending on the day.
We have limited shade, along with a small number of picnic tables and grassy areas for relaxing. Guests are encouraged to bring sunscreen, water, hats, bug spray, and anything needed for comfort during their visit.
